The careers of majority and minority differ because of racial imbalance in all levels of almost all organizations. The most prominent can be seen through the patterns of movement, especially in the management and executive positions where a member of the minority groups finds it very hard to navigate to the top. While the majority have a good leverage and have the potential to rise quickly through the ranks so fast; the minority struggle at the bottom while trying to prove themselves before their efforts are recognized. According to the author, awarding of promotions on racial lines is a challenge faced by minority groups. Most of them are even more qualified than their majority counterparts. But the system has a way of ignoring their qualifications and hard work, and many of them end up moving from one job to another that does not reflect any growth. That means that if I find myself in this situation, I will prove to my employer and the entire world that I am worthy and competent just like the majority. Then, whenever I am ignored, and others receive promotions that I rightfully deserve, I will raise the issue to my superiors. The problem with most minority members is that whenever they are ill- treated they keep quiet and go on with life as if nothing is the matter. But I am sure I will always prove to my employer that I deserve the top jobs through hard work and
