This is in fact not true. Juniors and Seniors with failing grades are forced to stay for study hall each day while there piers are going home. Study hall provides them with the extra time they need to get their work done in order to raise their grades. Juniors and Seniors must continue going to study hall until they have raised their grades .
During lunchtime, students generally make their way through the crowded cafeteria to sit with their friends, and enjoy their lunch while being supervised; however, many schools are now authorizing students to have an open campus lunchtime. An open campus allows students to leave school campus unsupervised to have lunch or hang out at a local restaurant or business. Having an open campus is beneficial because it allows students to gain independence, responsibility, trust, the health of students, socialize with friends, and help increase business at local restaurants. Therefore, I believe Arapahoe should continue to have an open campus for the benefit of our students. Having an open campus allows students to leave the school grounds to have lunch outside and be able to socialize with their peers.
Open campus at lunch time is a huge advantage for high school students, and is a great punishment as well. The student's responsibility to come back to school on time will have consequences if students don't follow it. This will help them realize that the word is run by rules and if people don't follow them, there will always have consequences. Students will be gaining responsibility for collage and the real world after that. To succeed in life people need independence, maturity, and responsibility.
I responded to 431 N Knox Street Apt 24 in refernce to a juvenile complaint. Upon arrival, I spoke with Yolona Wheeler. Wheeler advised that a guy name Marcus came to her residence while she was gone eating on her door and threatning her son(Jadakis Mckinney). I spoke with Mckinney of the incident and he advised that they were arguing over a $5.00 bet and Marcur got mad. Mckinney then went back to his residence.
If we’re failing a class, they don 't allow us to go ask for help after school, it will have to be in our own time. They expect us to be out in the field at a certain time knowing it takes us time to get stuff done and sometimes something gets in our way.
Not everyone wants to stay on campus and they may not be in walking distance of the campus. When they drive to class they want there to be a
Open periods and open lunches are something almost every underclassmen looks forward to, as only juniors and seniors can benefit from these privileges. This is how T.F. Riggs High School has worked for many years. Open lunch means that students have the ability to leave during their lunch period; an open period means students do not have a class during a certain period and have the option to leave the school during that period. Students can lose their open privileges if they have failing grades at midterm or at the end of the quarter. Underclassmen should have the option to have opens as long as they can keep their grades up.

Describe the actions to take if a child or young person alleges harm or abuse in line who policies and procedures of own setting. If a child alleges harm or abuse it is vital that the person that they tell are trained to deal with this effectively so that the child can be reassured that they have done the right thing and that the allegation can be acted upon. In The Outsiders the greasers are seen mostly as outsiders in society. The greasers are known to society as people who steal, smoking, and starting fights. The usually are recognized to society as people who wear leather jackets, jeans, and a T-shirt. Some greasers are different than how society portrays them. Johnny seems like he is a murder but he actually has a kind heart.
Emancipation is opening up new doors for minors, and benefiting them. When a minor gets emancipated it means that they are freed from control by their parents or guardians, and the parents or guardians are freed from any responsibility toward the child. Depending on the situation, minors might be trying to get away from their parents or maybe just ready to become independent. Through emancipation minors can create their “own life”, and learn how to be dependent for themselves and help get themselves out of an unfortunate situation. Minors get emancipated so they can be in charge of themselves, helping them create their own life.
When children and teens commit a violent crime such as murder, courts convict them as adults. This means that children as young as eight have been tried as adults in court. Eventually, these convicts will be housed in jails with adults. Despite the federal law stating that juvenile and adult inmates must be separated, most states do not comply with these rules. Furthermore, a law that varies throughout the states is the age in which courts send the children to adult or juvenile prisons.
