The story of “Romeo and Juliet” is a tragic tale that will never be forgotten. Written by Shakespeare in the 1500’s it’s a story of two young lovers from feuding families. There are many reasons as to why Romeo and Juliet died, but I believe miscommunication is the primary cause of their demise. From an undelivered letter, parents that don’t understand, and lack of communication between themselves, it’s easy to see why this tale had the tragic ending it did. The first example of miscommunication can be seen with the letter that the Friar sent to Romeo. This letter contained vital information about Juliet’s faked death. Unfortunately the letter was never brought to Romeo. Because of this, Romeo believed his Juliet was dead in the crypt.
