The differences between both the book and movie is obvious, the visual differences as well as the environmental difference, when reading the book you get a whole different point of view and atmosphere, I imagine the events play out a little differently, as for watching the movie it was played out in its own way, in different perspective to the book, almost exact but nevertheless different. For example the characters the movie seem to be the portrayed a bit differently than in the book, they act differently and have different experiences. also to point out how they act. In the movie I noticed the women wore pears , pearl? In the inner city being the atmosphere in the book,violent and aggressive teens it portrayed the atmosphere to be, just a tiny bit odd, and differences like that and more alike I feel are vital in setting the mood and scene of both the book and movie. Miss G gives the students hope and a notebook to write in. in the book, this moment was executed perfectly, the students open up to abuse, violence and their own personal troubles making something out of this
