In the book Miss Jane Pittman a character Tee Bob developed feeling for a teacher Mary Angel LeFabre. In the reading it drops sudden hints and use repetition so the reader can understand both sides of this relationship. Mary is only there because she wants to help kids get an education. Mary comes to ask for wood the first time he saw her. He became red in the face and almost dropped his coffee. Tee Bob became very interested in Mary. He would make excuses to see her.
