Mississippi hate crimes. This is tells of black men being murder by white men in Mississippi. These are there story. Emmett Till is a 14 year old boy from Chicago Illinois. Emmett was born July 25 1941.Emmett had traveled to Money Mississippi to visit his great uncle. On August 24, 1955 while visit his great uncle Emmett had went to a local small grocery store in Money Mississippi. While at the grocery store Emmett had wisely at a white women that work at the store. The white women name was Carolyn Bryant who was married to Roy Bryant. Four days later on August 28, 1955 Roy and his half-brother J.W. Milam went to Emmett Till’s great uncle house. James was a factory worker at a Nissan car plant. James is another victim of a hate crime in Mississippi. James was murder in Jackson, Mississippi on June 26 2011. His was killed by 18 year old white male named Deryl Dedmon, who drove his pickup truck over Mr. Anderson. James was robbed and repeatedly beaten by a group of white teenagers before he was ran over by the truck. In 2012 Dedmon pleaded guilty to Federal hate crime and conspiracy charges. As well the 4 teenager John Rice Dylan Butler, Jonathan Gaskamp and William Montgomery. The 4 men where to be sentenced later. In this Trail according to the prosecutor the group of young white males were drinking and partying riding around. Deryl Dedmon was the leader of the group of teens. While driving around with his friends drinking Deryl replied to his friends “let’s go fuck with some niggers”. And that they did. James Craig Anderson was near his truck in the parking lot at the metro Inn in Jackson at 5 A.M. on June 26. Deryl Dedmon claimed they believed that James was trying to steal a vehicle because they saw him trying to break into one. That was Dedmon reason for running James over with his truck, and beating him half to death. James had own the car; had lost his keys. Dedmon was arrested on July 6 and charge with capital murder of James Craig
