What was supposed to be a regular day of work turned to be an unpleasant moment in life. Something like that shouldn’t happen to an 18 year old. A dark day, full of uncertain decisions. Made me think how people can enjoy hurting families like that. In those moments I learned to appreciate life and to know that nothing last forever.

Looking into my grandmother's eyes, not knowing what to do, it was like she couldn’t believe it, she was full of anger, it was like she was full of anger. My grandmother just observed how everyone reacted. Everyone was questioning “why they had to do this to him?” I didn’t knew what to say or do. Everything he had told me, every time he tried to help and nobody really appreciated and now he’s dead and we can’t do nothing about it. They didn’t had to kill him they say, but there was no turning back, all we could do was cry and pray that now he is in a better place. I started to pay more attention to the opportunities life give me, in school and at home. Since that day, I started to see things in a different way. The same people still try to hurt us but now we understand if we give the the attention they want is just going to make it worse, now I’m more responsible and more thankful for what i have. Things happen for a reason maybe that was for us to become a better family and to understand each other
