A. Divorce, cancer, and parenting are three issues that can be a target for intervention. Divorce is the focal point of the movie and seems to be confusing to the children. Jackie’s cancer was the turning point throughout the movie. Once Jackie confessed about her sickness, the family starts to build strong union; however, the lack of education about the disease makes it impossible for children to understand what their mom is going through. Last but not least, parenting intervention will be useful for Isabel, considering she does not have any kids of her age. In addition, this parenting class will ease Jackie’s frustration that her kids are in great hand as her last day’s approach. B. In order to decrease the emotional and behavioral problems, the leader can read scenarios and have the child write down what he or she feel, which will help identify their strengths and weakness. For the second goal, the leader can use role playing to see how communication is used in the household. In order to successfully promote positive resiliency, children can write down their interest and teach how to reframe behavior during tough
