The movie Mrs. Doubtfire starred the late Robin Williams was released in 1993 by 20th Century Fox. It was the highest grossing cross-dressing film of its time with major earnings at the box office. It came in second only to Jurassic Park for best movies of the year. Robin Williams plays Daniel, a voice actor who quit his job in San Francisco. When Daniel and his wife, Miranda, gets into an argument about Daniels’ inconsistency and unreliability (threw a party for his son Chris’s 12th birthday behind her back), the couple ended up getting a divorce and she is granted full custody of their children. In an effort to get a joint-custody agreement approved by the judge, Daniel had a time span of three months to secure a job and suitable living arrangements. At first, Daniel is able to secure a job at a studio he used to work at but when his ex-wife, Miranda, puts out an ad looking for a housekeeper, he sees this as an opportunity and seizes it. Doubtfire, Daniel becomes aware and realizes all the duties and obligations that come along with parenting and up keeping a house. As Mrs. Doubtfire, he puts in a lot of effort as well as dedication to become a good housekeeper and overtime, Miranda begins to gain trust towards Mrs. Doubtfire. As a loving father, he realizes that being Mrs. Doubtfire is the only way for him to see and spend time with his children therefore he must continue the charade. This charade ended when his son, Chris, sees him in the washroom, uncovering his identify and is forced to come clean. The children made an agreement to keep their father’s secret but one night, Daniel’s identity is revealed to Miranda. Without Mrs. Doubtfire, both the children and Daniel became very depressed so eventually, Miranda and Daniel are able to come to an agreement and the joint custody is
