The definition of a teacher is someone that teaches a group of students in a facility. The characteristics of a teacher, according to Citrus College, is a person that has the desire to educate young people and act as a positive role model (SectorPoint, Inc.) .A person that has an interest in assisting other individuals and a person that is patient, has a lot of energy, and that is enthusiastic. Ms. Sophia Beharrie possess each of these characteristic with ease. A devoted music teacher that is talented and has a passion for not only music, but her students as well. She wants her students to do well and expects nothing but the best from each and every individual. Even though it is exceptionally difficult to summarize and put in words the true admiration for this wonderful woman, she is a role model which makes her inspiring, she has passion which makes her talented, and she is willing to help which makes her strong-hearted. She is a person that is so focused on getting things done and making sure that her students were always exceptional. She is always there in your time of need and as said before her motherly instincts became present. A strong woman that is constantly on the go, does not have time to stop and smell the roses, because she has music to pick, classes to teach and minds to nourish. An independent woman who is a single mother of two that does everything for not only her children at home, but also for her other seventy-five children at school.
