This riled people up, and many people disliked him because they believed he was cocky. When Ali lost against Ken Norton, he had multiple people harassing him after his loss. His then wife, Belinda, even had to go to the hospital due to shock. More of a personal struggle that he faced was the fear of airplanes (Ali & Durham, 1975).
