Muhammad Ali Muhammad Ali ended his career with 56 wins, 5 losses, and 37 knockouts. Muhammad Ali changed the way America thought about African Americans during the time period. Muhammad Ali was born January 17, 1942 in Louisville Kentucky, and died June 3, 2016 in Phoenix Arizona. Muhammad Ali was one of the greatest boxers in the world. He won three world heavyweight boxing titles in his boxing career. Working his way to the top, Muhammad Ali showed the world that he was confident, motivational, and stern. Muhammad Ali had so much confidence that sometimes when he was boxing he would taunt his opponent; he would put his arms at his sides leaving his face uncovered. The speech wasn’t as much about boxing as it was just telling people to never give up, and never let somebody tell you can’t do something. “Only last week I murdered a rock; injured a stone; hospitalized a brick.
