The importance of Muhammad Ali on boxing is huge.He was once known as Cassius Clay but in the mid 60's he converted to Islam then he would go to change his name to Muhammad Ali.In the 1970's, sports was affected by Muhammad Ali. He was stripped of his heavyweight championship after refusing to go serve in Vietnam because he claimed his religion was against the war a lot of people would call him a draft dodger.
