Music 1920s
You can call it what you want, start of the great depresion, The Roaring 20s. But when look at that time, I see the decade my grandpa was born. Along with some of the best music in history. Yes, it is jazz. If you hate it, that is your mistake. The 1920s was the best time for music. In the 1920s, music was effected by mainly The Great Depresion. A main event that started durring the 1920s that effected music alot would be The Great Depresion. How it effected music is The Great Depresion caused a lot of sadness and depresion (as it did), and saddness was the fuel for the Blues, and the Blues were one of the best genres of music in that time. The Blues were about taking your sorrows and your problems and adding music and power to it. People would love this music, and would always come back if they can, to hear more.

At this time, when the war ended everyone was happy, the men were happy, the women were happy, the children were happy and they didn't know why they were happy, but the main thing that was happy was the music. The music was very happy sounding at this time. This was arround the time that big band jazz came arround, where there would be an ensamble of every different jazz instrument; trumpets, saxophones, drum set, basses, and any other instrument that was used in Jazz. The last main event that effencted music and entertainment that I'm going to list here, is just events that happen that inspire writers to write a story or a song. This was very improtant in Broadway musicals. In the musicals actors and actresses and singers would be given lines and lyrics to put together a story. How realistic the production is, is up to the writer and the director. These plays could be about anything, war stories, major successes, families, life in general, and anyother stories that the writers and directors came up
