While both of these magnificent, magical places are located 8.5 miles from each other they are fairly similar and enormously different. Disneyworld is located in Florida, more precisely Kissimmee, but since it’s a suburb of Orlando, most people just say it’s in Orlando.

Inception, The Matrix, The Lion King, Atlantis: The Lost Empire and Black Swan are all notable examples of this. There is one movie in particular, with many striking similarities shared with a widely popular anime: Pacific Rim. Neon Genesis Evangelion is one of the most popular animes to ever be created; it was created in the 90’s while Pacific Rim was only brought into the light in 2013. Moana and the Effects of Polynesia Misrepresentations to Young Children Moana is seen by most children as a whimsical animated film about courage that is set in Polynesia and is based on a traditional story. The island can only be healed if Maui returns Te Fiti's heart, so Moana embarks on a journey across the Pacific to convince him to do so. However, despite the charade put up by Disney, there are some concerning things about the movie that should be taken into account.
` In May of 1977, Star Wars: A New Hope was released with overwhelmingly positive reviews and marking a new era in cinema. The writer and director of the film, George Lucas, decided to expand upon the Star Wars universe in 1999 by making Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, with a story that took place before the original film’s story. This movie was made with advanced equipment and cutting-edge CGI (for 1999), nonetheless, the movie was panned by critics and enraged an entire generation of moviegoers. The answer to why this happened lies in the differences between the two films: use of special effects, construction of characters, and complexity of plot. “A special effect is a tool, a means of telling a story.

Across cultures and civilizations, the sea has always been an important figure both in the benefits it provides in daily life and its presence in storytelling. In consequence, sea monsters have been important figures in myths and stories whether it be in 1000 BCE Babylonian culture, or in 20th century America. The Babylonian Enuma Elish and Disney’s 1989 The Little Mermaid both feature a powerful female antagonist, Tiamat and Ursula, respectively, and these two figures bear many similarities. In both stories, the female antagonist holds strong relationship to the sea, and has supernatural abilities that aid her in her quest to defeat the heroic characters in the story.
