At the beginning of our fourth meeting, it seems members were ready to work together, I notice that the group as a whole were ready for this meeting, when I asked the group members how their spring break was and to share with group members anything excited that happen during their break. Every member responded to my questions, the group felt relax and joke around with the facilitator. After this discussion, I knew this session was going to be a positive meeting. At the end of this group, the group was in the middle phase because the facilitator covered the following skills: tuning in skills, contracting skills, elaborate, making a demand for work, summarizing the lesson. Social worker need to demonstrate empathy on client's issues and feelings which this is called tuning in, reflect on what the client is sharing, and use the interpersonal skills in order to engage clients. During the intervention process, social worker need to discussed with client the purpose of receiving service, explain the consent form of service, and explained the process of confidentiality.
