My 8th grade history teach had a poster that said, ” Shoot for the stars, but know if you miss you will float in space until you die.” While the poster had a dark theme, it was a good metaphor for life. While aiming high can be rewarding, it is better to live practical because you will have a better chance in succeeding. Instead of trying to jump up many steps in the staircase of life, why don't we just go one step at a time? When working with smaller goals, you complete more in life. People who have ADHD are told by psychiatrists to work in small chunks because it has been proven to be more efficient.
