After years of going through the education system, I have come to one of the most decisive and important decisions of my life: choosing a college. My top five choices are (in order) Wisconsin Madison, Pomona, Cornell, DePauw, and Saint Olaf. The college I attended for the next four years will impact my life forever, which is why any college that I attended, I will try my hardest to lead and perceiver through my college career.
A Wisconsin Madison banner hung above the 3rd grade me as far as I can remember. Ever since then, there was a banner with a badger on it, and for some reason it always caught my eye. Obviously at this age, I had no clue about Wisconsin Madison or any college. Of course, this is not how I became aware of Wisconsin Madison. I became aware of Madison due to the fact that it is a partner school with Posse. Once I found out that it’s so close to home and offers a full ride I instantly did my research. Upon doing so I fell in love with the school. The Business program most certainly caught my attention. Even though this is important to me, there are more important factors that bring my attention to this school. For examples in Forbes, a business magazine, ranked Cornell University as the twenty fifth best business school in the US. Cornell University and I share the same common goal of producing creative work and spreading knowledge. One important factor that I can bring to Cornell is my leadership skills. I can help improve the school by learning from and teaching others in extracurricular activities outside of school. Due to Cornell being located in New York, this brings up a conflict I have mentioned before.
