In his book Every Good Endeavor, Timothy Keller seeks to reimagine and rekindle the idea of “connecting your work to God’s work” by examining God’s original design for work, identifying the main effects of sin on work, and then offering a glimpse into how Christians may work in light of the Gospel. Furthermore, throughout his three sections, Keller presents Christians not only with a reminder of work’s original dignity and importance but also with a reminder of how the Gospel should affect every aspect of our lives and our being, as we were saved by grace, through faith, but were also “created in Christ Jesus for good works, which he has set ahead of time for us to do (Ephesians 2:8-10).” Overall, Keller’s Every Good Endeavor encourages Christians

I was homeless. Everything - from my prestigious awards to my mattress all the way to the trash from beside my toilet- was piled right on top of one another. Teddy bears, pictures, and even abstract memories seemed to have a haunting presence as I tried to comprehend what was happening. My dad patiently tried to help me understand how we had got to a point of such penetrating financial instability that the bank had revoked our house. Homelessness, while seemingly obvious, means different things to different people.
An accomplishment can have many meanings to different people. It was 9:00 pm Wednesday night, as I was sitting in the middle of a deserted parking lot in my car, on my college campus. Sitting with my seat belt on, under a light pole with the only car in sight, envisioning how different life could be. The feeling of my stomach rumbling in hunger, the smell of my stale clothes after they have been worn more than a few times without a wash, while doing my homework under a light pole that shined into my car. Homeless while in college, I knew in this moment that my struggle would be a pivotal point in my future success. .

Point of View and Credibility Just like any other autobiography, Keller wrote The Story of My Life in first person point of view, sharing her experiences through her own thoughts and feelings, however, this point of view makes the narrator less credible. In the novel, Keller recounts her early childhood and so forth from memory, making the story less trustworthy since her memory could be false. She could have added some details she wanted to include and forget some details that could have changed the story slightly or immensely, yet Keller is well aware of this problem as before she starts the book she says: “When I try to classify my earliest impressions, I find that fact and fancy look alike across the years that link the past with the
