Annie Dillard’s short story, “The Deer at Providencia”, is about how she handled her emotions in different scenarios. The message that Dillard is trying to tell the reader is that life isn’t possible without suffering. Annie was mature enough to understand that sometimes suffering is necessary in order for another being to benefit. The first half of the story was about Annie’s reaction when she saw the deer that was trapped. To the surprise of her companions, she “looked detached, or hard, or calm, or focused, while [she] felt very old and energetic” (Dillard 70).

Recently Owen Aerts has been hunting. Owen had shot a 6 point buck. He went hunting to manage the deer population in Lakewood Wisconsin where there was a lot of deer hunters out in the woods on that day ,but Owen got a buck. A lot of people just went out in the woods and sat next to a tree.
My dad and I went on a muzzleloader antelope hunting trip, in Central Oregon. Four days into our trip, on September 1st, we started our morning off like the past three days, very tired. We stumbled out of our beds and, drowsily, we geared up and left for another unknowing day of hunting. Once we arrived at some alfalfa fields, my dad let me drive the dirt roads.
It was a sunny afternoon we are at the farm in Hillman. I was waiting to go whitetail deer hunting. My dad was talking to his friend Buzz for a very long. Finally my dad was done talking and we started walking out to the edge of a barley field. I was using my dad 's 270.
In the early 1700’s settlers harvested deer for food, clothing, and trade. The timing in each year changed when anyone could hunt deer in Maryland. There were also a time when a legislative act was placed on Maryland hunters to stop killing of deer. In the 1800’s there were too many diseases spreading from deer to humans. Which at that time they hunted.
In my arms, my young daughter took her last breath. Her once-strong, -lively body was now as frail as a wilted flower. And her eyes—her black, playful eyes—were peacefully closed, never again to open. I listened hopelessly to the women’s song of mourning, sung in our native Cherokee tongue. At my side, my wife, Yellow Blossom’s, voice rang out smoothly and softly, but intermittently interrupted by brief sobs.
My dad asked one of his good friends if we could hunt his four acres of woods and 12 acres of farm land. He said he had no one lined up to hunt, so we went but ended up not getting anything. We went the next morning and set up our ground blind under a few trees. We had sat until almost noon when we had decided to try to sneak up on them.
In the 19th century, there were few known European statesmen who are still remembered. For instance, there were Otto von Bismarck, Camillo Benso di Cavour, and Klemens Von Metternich. Klemens Von Metternich was born on May 15, 1773 in Koblenz, Germany and died on 1859. His education was different than other. He studied philosophy at the University of Strasburg from 1788 to 1790.
I went outside into the blazing heat of idaho smelling of corn and potatoes, nothing else. After going to the army supply store we headed back to wyoming as we saw a wild fire in the distance I wondered what started it. But i knew i would never find out so on our drive we also saw the world 's biggest potato (Not really it was a giant fake potato the size of a truck). Once we hit the pass into wyoming we were all silent with nothing to talk about.
My dad set some corn out to lurer the deer in with. Then we went to go sit down against a tree. The tree was tall and dark brown. We got all settled down and ready to wait for a deer to come.
The Hunt It was a gloomy September day and the bear hunting season was about to begin. The old farm truck was loaded full with barrels of cooking grease, assorted candy, birdseed and tubes of sticky frosting. We were to hunt four hours north in a little town called Orr, Minnesota. My family had an 80 acre lot that we used strictly for hunting. My mom volunteered to sit in the stand with me and videotape the hunt.
The first day if hunting we went into the Black Hills and did a lot if walking to find some deer. When we finally found some my brother was the first to shoot, since he picked the bigger straw out of three, which was how we decided who gets to shoot first, he missed. So I was next up and when we saw another deer it was really far away and it took my seven shits before I killed it. It wasn't even worth trying to kill it because it was just a fawn and I wasted seven shots killing it and that was the end of day one.
