Many students work hard to obtain the best test scores and achieve “Straight A’s” in order to have a better chance of attending their dream college. Schools and parents often encourage children from a young age to perform their best and challenge themselves. Often the students who strive for excellence live their dream of
I think planned study sessions with my classmates will also help me to stay on track and encourage me to keep up so that I can participate in the
Not only in sciences but in every other subject, I have maintained a final course grade of an A for all my courses. My 92% attendance is a number I would strive to maintain and never drop. I hate procrastinating so in my detailed and colorful agenda, I check off the assignments I have completed. To stay on top of schoolwork, I take notes in most of my classes which are extremely helpful when it comes to studying. My organization is my top priority to success.
I have the ability to achieve and my work ethic will stay at a high level. This will take participation, attendance and my work ethics. I have successfully improved a bit in my writing and getting to my point and believe that there is an ability that I am willing to still come across to. My goals by the end of this semester is confidence in my writing and most importantly dedication and exceed your
I will understand that every student is different and embrace every challenge. My goal is to strive as a positive role model by influencing moral character with
To accomplish this I will be attentive in classes, attend study groups and study whenever possible. And last but not least teamwork. I strive to be a team player by giving my all when the task at hand is one of my strengths as to help someone who the task may be a weakness. I have given encouragement when needed, stayed behind during personal time to help recruits study, given boot shining lesions and Ironed uniforms for others that were busy with other assignments. I will continue to look for ways of being a team player ensuring Class 002 accomplishes any mission thrown at
I learned a couple things like to ask questions even if they sound dumb to yourself; to not overthink things; start working on assignments earlier rather than later; and have a clear understanding of what the assignments or least an understanding
I shared this with Mr. Butler and we began to work on the goal. I always manage to study the material taught in class in order to earn outstanding grades. Whenever I don’t understand something, I always go to tutorials and ask questions. In my first year of high school, I focused on grades and my high school plans. However, the first year was also my time of discovery.
My goal is to get a B in that class and I am very confident I can achieve that. 3. I think I should be able to handle the workload this semester well. It’s pretty much what I was expecting when I decide to attend college. 4.
This class has taught me much, most of which I will be implementing into my schooling and career. One of the top methods, for me, is time management. I am admittedly terrible about procrastinating where it would be in my favor to work ahead. This leads to stress and less quality final work. I have been better about working in segments with short breaks in between, rather than all at once the night before the due date.
Step #1: Make a study schedule You've probably heard this before, but I will emphasize it because it is critical: do not cram, and space out your study blocks. By spacing out your studying, you'll reduce anxiety and maximize long-term retention (which is the whole point of learning, right?). What's worked for me in the past is a week or two in advance, I'd create a list of subjects I intended on studying for. Then, I'd make a sub-list of what I intended on doing for each subject to prepare.
I will need to be diligent in my courses to make sure I retain the information not only to pass the course but to lead a successful career. I will also need to prioritize efficiently to make sure I’ve completed my assignments before going to the movies and things less important than my education. One thing I will need to work on is staying focused and concentrating on one thing at a time. I have a bad habit of losing interest in things and trying to jump to the next thing. So it will be important for me to stay mindful of that as I further my education.
My educational goal is to earn a degree in Biology and Spanish from the University of California, Riverside, in hopes of getting a job inside the laboratory department at Kaiser. Based on labs that I have already done at the University, I found that I enjoy working in a similar setting. I would love to have the opportunity to shadow a connoisseur in a similar work environment, as it would be a valuable learning experience. I come from a low-income family in Oakland, California. The economic barrier that has restricted my family has prevented us from moving out from where we live.
By adequately preparing, I set myself up for success and mental stability. By collaborating with my classmates, I reduce the workload and allow myself to dedicate more time to work that will ease my studying. By using effective study methods, I am able to focus more when I learn the material, which in turn, results in me retaining more information in less time. My process has proven successful time and time again, all the while I am able to maintain a social life and get sufficient
Get a binder that keeps everything separate, "Keep homework, tests, and class papers in central location" (10 Tips). It helps the student know exactly where to find something if they need it. Also, old homework and papers so that they can be reused to study for future
