Since a hero shows determination, it drives them to help others and go beyond what’s expected of them. Heroes are people who go beyond expectations.
No matter who someone's hero is one thing stays the same. A hero is someone that has strived to help out of their own will. Anyone could be a hero. However not everyone is a hero. Being a hero takes courage.

What is a hero? To most, it’s probably the classic superhero- the one with superpowers and can fly. To others, it might be a fictional character with a magic wand or a demigod in a prophecy. To some, it might be a real life person- a famous one or the ones who raised you.
A hero is someone who puts others before themselves. Heroic acts can range from small gestures to saving countless lives. Almost anyone can be a hero. Heroes are known for their outstanding achievements and bravery. Chesley Sullenberger is a hero because he is brave, selfless, and saved the lives of many people.
Joseph Campbell once said, “A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself.” Being a hero doesn’t mean being “super”, it means having the courage to run towards danger when everybody else is running away from it.
