Many people feel terrible after exacting revenge on others, contrary to popular belief. In fact, few people know the truth behind seeking revenge, one of the oldest, most ingrained societal actions that humans possess. In the Count of Monte Cristo, Edmond Dantes embarks on a revenge spree after having been imprisoned on trumped up charges for 15+ years. In A Long Way Gone, Ishmael Beah was lead to believe that enlisting in the Sierra Leonean Army was the only way to avenge the death of his family. Revenge is harmful because it deeply affects the mind and soul, and affects the well-being of others.
Depending how far revenge goes the person can stray off the right path. The sane motive for people who act on revenge doesn't have a true purpose behind it. For explain, in the monster’s case he hates that fact he was brought to life so because of that he will kill everyone his creator loves. The pursuit is extreme compared to have Victor did.

Hi, Wicliffe As always your writing is succinct and a pleasure to read. I think I used the words brevity and clarity to describe your previous writing assignments and they still apply. Your observation about how insulated America can be is one I have also noted. Most of us learn about cultures through the filter of movies, books, films etc.

"Loop" is a Pixar animated short film directed by Erica Milsom. According to Milsom the inspiration for the film came from her own experiences working with children with special needs. She wanted to create a story that would showcase the unique strengths and abilities of individuals with autism, rather than simply focusing on their challenges and limitations. Milsom hoped to create a film that would resonate with audiences of all ages and backgrounds by highlighting the shared humanity of all people, regardless of their differences. “Loop,” tells the story of Renee, a nonverbal autistic girl voiced by Madison Brand, and Marcus, a talkative boy voiced by Chachi Delgado, as they embark on a canoeing trip in a scenic lake.
Has anyone ever wanted to get revenge on someone who hurt someone else? Many people in different books and in history have committed revenge on someone. In the book, For Real by Alison Cherry, Claire wants revenge for her sister; and in history Dr. Hawley Crippen sought revenge on his wife. These are two different examples of when someone had wanted to get revenge on someone else. Hawley, a doctor accused of killing his wife in 1910, compares to Claire, who planned revenge to help her sister; they both wanted revenge, thought of detailed plans, and accomplished their goals in the end.
I didn’t know what to do so I hide behind a bookshelf and found something to throw and I threw it across the room to make him think that I was there he went to where the noise was I quietly, but I hurried up I didn’t want him to catch me, so I tried to find a place to hide and, so I went in to the kitchen and hide in there. I was trying to think of what I could next, and my brain wasn’t thinking fast enough I was trying really hard to think of something then in the corner of my eye I seen a smoke bomb. I then got an idea it was when he walks in here I will through it and then I will kill him.
Response Paper Change is inevitable. Therefore, every human being is bound to experience change whether he or she likes it or not. Different events wield great influence so powerful that it could shift the course of an individual’s lives. An example of such paradigm shifts are depicted by both Quinn and Pollack in their literary pieces “Sign Here if You Exist” and “Pigeons” respectively.

In the play Into the Woods written by James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim, Little Red sings the song “I Know Things Now.” I chose the song “I Know Things Now” because I can relate to the lyrics. Most of the songs in Into the Woods have a theme to them and the song, “I Know Things Now,” definitely has a theme of maturity. Little Red does not listen to her mother when she does not stick to her path to her grandmother’s house. After she strays from the path, she ends up learning to listen to her mother more, and she also learns about many other important life lessons.
I have chosen to write a review of the movie “I am Sam” because it is a powerful, emotional film about love, the family bonds, and parenting challenges. The main character, Sam, lived in Los Angeles, CA in the 1990s. Sam has the mental capacity of seven years old, he works at Starbucks and has a daughter with a homeless woman who abandoned them after she gave birth to his daughter. Sam is an avid Beatles fan and named his daughter Lucy Diamond after the Beatles song. Sam’s mental impairments are autistic tendencies and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
