My Writing Experience Essay

Within every subject at school, reading, writing, and chemistry posed a big challenge for me during my high school years. I excel in most subjects, but these three were the hardest to get. The key solution to my problem was to put my mind to it and do very best that I can. This wasn’t easy and I couldn’t do it by myself, there were several factors that allowed me to overcome the difficulties and excel in all subjects. At the reading I was horrible, I couldn’t understand anything I read “What’s the purpose behind reading?” I ask myself. Well, turns out reading had a different meaning than what I thought. Both difficulties really hurt me throughout my high school. For my freshman year I failed the writing STARR test by a few points. There I made up my mind to pass the writing STARR test on my first tried on my sophomore year. The teacher was so great at teaching me how to fix my grammar problems and improve my word choice. The next year for my junior year I took my writing skills to the next level by taking a college level writing class from HCC. My writing skills improved more than I thought, but still had some bad sentence structures. By the end of the year I got a B in the class, but the problem still remains and can be solved.
Lastly chemistry was the hardest to understand due to the fact that there were so much explanation going on that it took the whole period just to answer one question. To top it all of the teachers didn’t really explain the sequence well enough. The course wasn’t really taught well, but I still managed to pull through and get A on the regular chemistry and a C in a college level class. Even though I still need more work for my chemistry I believe I can be ready for it for a second time and do better by studying more.
All the challenges I had faced on my academic journey, I was able to find out that hard work and dedication will help me overcome many difficulties in any subject. The challenges I faced so far will help me thrive in college and lead to
