It is within our best interest as humans to continue to support the space programs. NASA has several space programs that have contributed significantly to scientific research, technological advancements, and our understanding of the universe. There are three major , and these are the ‘real’ human reasons, the fact that NASA significantly benefits the U.S economy, and the fact that space exploration contributes to politics. I have further explained these reasons deeper in this essay.

Everyone may be thinking that the reasons I have given do not make up for the loss of funds put into the program, but that would be incorrect. As everything states in body paragraph two, there is a major economic income provided by NASA that most people do not know or think about. This is simply because people assume the only way something can provide an economic benefit is through consumerism and sales, while there are many ways to provide economic benefits.
