Napoleon Bonaparte, also known as the “Little Corsican”, a self-appointed emperor who was once the strongest leader of France. One of many reasons, such as an astonishing leader which was because he flourished in a family of radicals. He was also very powerful and intelligent because his parents taught him that only hard work gets you far in life. In 1779, Napoleon 9 years of age starts to go to a French Military Government school. Which led him to be an officer in war when he was 16 years old (History.com 1). Napoleon is one of the most celebrated leaders of France.In 1815, Napoleon surrendered to the commander of the British which led the British government to exile him to St. Helena where he died of stomach cancer (History.com 1). Napoleon began French Military Government school in Paris when he was only 9 years old (Bio.com 1). He was teased and bullied which grew him up to be a competitive and hardworking man (Bio.com 1). Later in 1779, His father transferred him to another school in Paris called Brienne; where he went through military training (Bio.com 1). He studied there to be a military man and officer (History.com 1). After all this hard work, he finished his training and became an officer at 16 years of age (History.com 1). In 1785, Napoleon became an officer and his father dies which Napoleon had to support his family's finances ; teaching him to be hardworking. After the French monarchy was overthrown, Napoleon started to make a name for himself and became a well announced military leader (History.com 1). Napoleon did not stop after this he kept going. In 1791, he was promoted to captain and he was also trusted to lead the artillery in the Siege of Toulon (Bio.com 1). After the defeat of Toulon, he was promoted to being Brigadier General and was put in command of the army of Italy (History.com 1). Soon after, he defeated many Austrian generals and tired of getting beat; Austria decided to become allies with France (Bio.com 1). In 1795, Napoleon broke up a revolt which saved the French government. This helped gain popularity from nobles and higher ranks members of the society.
