Lorenzo was a man who did great things for Texas. He was also one of the men who signed the Texas Declaration of Independence. Lorenzo’s full name is Manuel Lorenzo Justiniano de Zavala Saenz. “ Zavala’s political experience and reputation made him an ideal ally for the Texas cause.” In his life Lorenzo was dedicated to fighting oppression.
Bernardo de Galvez deserves recognition for shaping florida to be the way it is today. This Spanish born sailor sailed from his homeland to the eastern seaboard of the new world in 1777. Bernardo fought the british and claim Florida for spain which ended up becoming the 27th state. He also connected florida with other states which caused people to move there and gave florida allies before it was a state.

Javier “Chicharito” Hernández was born on June 1, 1988 in Guadalajara, Mexico, to Silvia Balcazar and Javier Hernández. Hidalgo led his growing militia from village to village in route to Mexico city, leaving in their wake a bloodbath that he came later to regret . Defeated at Calderon in January 1811 , Hidalgo fled north but was captured and executed by a firing squad in Chihuahua.

El Chapo is the founder of the Sinaloa cartel, and they are known for their violence and their powerful influence. El Chapo was born into a family of poverty, and had an abusive father who was involved in drug trade. At about our age Joaquin was following his father’s path, and was growing marijuana for money to live off because he had been kicked out of his family home.

Her mother Justa Samperio an alcoholic woman would exchange her to a man called Jose Lugo for a couple of beer. Barraza was sexually abuse; as a result she became a mother at the age of 13.

Las Casas is known for his famous writings which weren’t published until many years after his death. Las Casas was not like any ordinary man in his time period. On July 6, almost 5 months ago, Officer Jeronimo Yanez pulled over Philando Castile, with the assumption that he was involved in a robbery that happened a few days prior. Mr. Castile had his girlfriend and his child in the car when he was pulled over. After handing the officer his license and registration, Mr. Castile that he was armed, but there was a permit for the gun with his papers.

Her late husband, Isaiah Nixon, a turpentine worker and a father of six, had been shot three times on their front porch for voting in the Democratic Primary. Even before the interview, Alexander Rivera knew that a small town faced with the murder of a black man would be enraged and torn by the act of racial violence. Living in the Jim Crow South as a traveling reporter for the Pittsburgh Courier, Alexander Rivera was used to the act of concealing his identity to garner crucial information on trials, lynching’s and murders done to African Americans. “Something told me, I don’t know what the something was to go dressed as a chauffeur” Alexander Rivera explained, “It was easier traveling as a chauffeur because everybody figured that you worked with somebody important”.
