It was a nice sunny day in Palm Beach, Florida. I walked into the gym before school because i heard there was baseball sign ups, I wrote my name down, Mitch Aronza. I was really hoping i could make the team. The first tryout was tomorrow. The next day I got up got my backpack and my baseball bag, Then i headed for school. After the long boring day of school I got to the locker room and changed into my baseball gear. There was 3 days of tryouts, today was optional because it was just pitching, I was 1 out of 30 players trying out for pitcher, Since im in 6th grade I know it's gonna be really hard to make. At practice that day they announced the batting order and the starting lineup I was 2nd in the batting order and I was gonna pitch the whole game, I knew it would be tough. After a long week of hard work and practice we had our first game against Port St. Lucie they had a lot of fast players that could get a lot of steals but i had my best friend behind the plate catching for me and he has always been catching for me so i trusted him and he trusts me. We were hitting first My other best friend who played 1st base was up first he's in 7th grade but he was on my travel team, he had full count then got a single, I was up to bat my first at bat of the season, I saw the pitch come in they didn't have very fast pitches so I ripped it up the gap it hit the wall and then rounded 2nd as hunter went home and i slide into third. Later that game we were in the last inning we were up 18-0 and I was still pitching. Since we were up by so much me and my catcher decided we would throw the curving magic, I started my wind up I let go of the ball and my arm just pops i couldn't feel my arm and i couldn't throw… I blew my arm out. “Then keep it!” the doctor boasted After that I told my coach and he told me then i’ll play in the game, he also told me i will play catcher for the first 4 innings and i'll play 3rd for the rest of the game. Right after school i got to practice for the first hour it was only the pitchers weirdly i went from from throwing 75 mph to 88 mph and i could throw anything I wanted. After pitchers practice we had team practice i was just hitting straight bombs over the fence pitch after pitch after pitch, I went in to play center field for a bit I made so many diving catches and amazing ones, Then I was told i would play center the first 4 innings and Pitcher the rest. Then 2 days at our game against juno beach I went 3/3 3 home runs and 5 catches in the outfield and 8 strikeouts in 3 innings. Once I got home a heard a weird voice from out of nowhere… but no one was
