“Oh, Brother” It’s a nice day in Hennepin County, Minnesota. It’s fall break and all the kids are playing and relaxing. The leaves are changing color, while the trees are swaying. The leaves and grass give this nice evergreen smell. The grass is soft but, a little jagged beneath your feet, there were so many great things during this Fall. Outside, a girl in short, black hair, and in a blue dress was Lucy.There was a boy in a yellow shirt with the brown chevron design on his shirt and little specks of hair named Charlie Brown. Lucy called to Charlie Brown in her sweet voice, “I’LL HOLD THE BALL, AND YOU KICK IT…” Charlie Brown knows that Lucy will take the ball out of the way before he kicks it and mutters,“Oh, Brother!” Lucy heard him and speaks in a somber way,” I know you don’t trust me, Charlie Brown… you think I’m going to pull this football away when you come running up to kick it…” She continues, “Well, here’s a signed document testifying that I promise not to do it…” …show more content…

It’s a signed document!” He couldn’t believe his eyes, it was a signed document. Charlie Brown just left as he saw it. He got home, sat on the couch reading the document again and again. He kept reading it until it was time to go to bed. At school the next day, Charlie Brown wasn’t focused at all. He kept thinking about that document and whether to say yes or no. The next days were a blur he really just couldn’t stop thinking about that document. The weekends came and he went over to Lucy’s house to play football. He rang the doorbell and Lucy came out.
