Judy Jordan is a heavy fit women in her early 80’s she’s been apart of my life and also my entires family life as long as I can remember. Judy is a sweet old lady who makes the whole room smile when she tells jokes or even gets her thoughts through correctly. Judy has MS which is Multiple sclerosis, also known as MS, is a chronic disease that attacks the central nervous system, the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves. In severe cases, the patient becomes paralyzed or blind while in milder cases there may be numbness in the limbs. She only has numbness in her limbs and is unable to walk. She also can’t compare her thoughts fast enough as she’s talking. I am Brania Shant’a Kimbrough, I am 5 feet 6 inches tall. I am 17 years old in 12th grade a senior. I’m an African American female who is smiling and happy almost all the time. We are close I think of her as a grandmother or a aunt I can look up to. When we meet she was already close to the family she made up the name rock me mama for my nickname as a baby because I was chubby and rocked back and forth as I walked.
Judy became my mentor when my aunt asked me to help Judy at her house. Because she has MS she needs help on a daily basis. It was the summer of 2014 and my aunt was looking to pay …show more content…

She inspired me as I inspired her.I also I believe, that I taught Judy how to allow herself to keep trying harder even if she fails a couple of times. Because Judy has MS she can't walk but she wants to desperately so I encourage her not to give up. She knows there's a most likely no chance she will walk again but she still has hope and still goes to physical therapy. Judy’s determination to walk again was as strong as a cancer patient fighting for survival. Judy taught me many things her voice became music to my ears. Everything she said to me became a meaning about life. Her teaching became so significant that it was also educating and I enjoyed
