Kathryn Johnston (June 26, 1914- November 21, 2006) was an elderly Atlanta Georgia, woman who was shot by undercover cops in her home on Neal street in Northwest Atlanta on November 21, 2006, where she had lived for 17 years. Three cops had entered her house in what was later described as a "botched" drug raid. Those cops cut off burglar bars and broke down her door using a no-knock warrant. Officers said that Johnston fired at them so they fired in response; she fired one shot out the door over the cops' heads; therefore, they fired 39 shots, five of six of which hit her. None of the cops were injured by her gunfire, but Johnston was killed by the police.

At the end of the 2013 softball season, Kelsey Bradford found herself facing a possible state champion title along with a possible surgery. It was a night filled with nervous energy, happiness, and pain. “I will never forget the feeling that I had when I stepped up to the plate as the first batter of the game. I was so nervous but so excited at the same time,” Kelsey recalled. “At the first bat of the game, I made an in the park home run.
My ambitions are to be the first, the first to invent, research and to write, I stand imperfect, I live life flawed but I remain determined to overcome my flaws. Talking about the firsts, my influences start with the firsts, Amy beach is the first female composer in the United States. Her piece for solo piano named “Eskimos (1907)”, is such a worthy example of exoticism. At first I was against the idea of a non-native composer trying to create a piece with foreign melodies, but Beach did a prodigious job of keeping the melody true to its’ origins.
Kate Oswald’s birth did not go as planned. Between Clara’s water breaking in the middle of running, to the birth happening on the floor of the console, the Doctor had hardly found a moment to let himself breathe. How Clara managed to keep herself together during it all, he could never figure out. “You should rest,” he said. He adjusted the pillows behind her so she could sit up.
One of the most controversial events from World War II (WWII) was the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Throughout my past four years at Weddington High School, I am inspired by the impact my teachers have given me. I believe education is the greatest gift you can give to a person who is striving to make a difference. This is something that I have been interested in for several years. I am currently a teacher assistant for Mrs. Donna Nunn’s Microsoft Word and PowerPoint class that allows me to see how lesson plans are carried out in a classroom environment and I know that this experience has given me a stronger desire to become a teacher. During my freshman year of high school, Ms. Marisa DiFronzo made literature become a very engaging subject for me, not only by her way of teaching but also her ability to bring the class together as one.
If I were Kelly Jarret I would have never taken a plea bargain. If I took the plea I would be free, out of jail but I would never be really free because I will always be watched. If I made a mistake, like get a ticket I would be sent right back to jail. Even if I get out of jail my record will never be clean, I will still be considered a criminal in society. It would be very hard for me to make friends because anyone can go on the internet and google my name and see what I have done.
On May 16, 2017 I interviewed Mrs. Newman about what it means to be American to her. Mrs. Newman is a Human Anatomy teacher who teaches at Anaheim High School. Furthermore, Mrs. Newman loves to teach about the human body and what are the pros about being the first to walk on Earth. Incidentally, Newman was relatable towards being an immigrant because she is from Thailand. Furthermore, Newman never really knew what to say about the country she lived in because her family had moved ever since she was a baby.
My teaching experience with Kathleen Tims is unique as she was my student in 1st grade and again in my 6th and 7th grade advanced mathematics and science classes. Her personal qualities of self-awareness and self-assurance are evident. From the beginning, Katie demonstrated a strong ability to reason, problem solve and apply solutions in diverse ways. Her engagement in learning appears effortless but that comes from a continual practice of learning skills she has developed.
She was recording her husbands arrest in a local convenient store. The officers scolded her to stop recording and she did not. Wilson’s car was stolen and her phone was confiscated. The police officer told her if she did not hand over her phone she would be punched in the face. Kelli was then thrown to the ground as one officer punched her in the face and the other held her down.
As time passed, I seemed caught in a rigid routine. When I woke, my crazies made it hard to shower. During the day, I worked as an accountant for two small businesses in town. After work I came home, got high, and sat alone in my house. At night I watched Johnny Carson, and on the weekends, I visited my Aunt Claudia.
