This happens to Natasha Howland in the book ‘’13 minutes’’ by Sarah Pinborough. Our whole book panel wanted to read this incredible novel about friendship, love and betrayal. Yes, maybe these words are the key to an interesting and exciting book to read. Friendship is important to everyone, without friendships life can be very hard. Rebecca has to bear the brunt because of Natasha. They were best friends forever, to emphasize WERE best friends forever. Now Natasha has nothing to do with Rebecca anymore. But things change. Natasha becomes dead, she becomes dead for 13 minutes. While she recovers in the hospital, her previous best friend forever Rebecca shows up. Rebecca is off her stroke and wants to do something for Natasha. But that isn’t as easy as it used to be. Natasha already has two new best friends forever, Hayley and Jenny. They are proud to be part of the Barbie’s and will do everything to defend their ‘’leader’’ Natasha. Therefore they won’t make space for Rebecca who isn’t cool.
