He had a strong personality, he doesn’t talk about Rebecca but the new Ms. De Winter is curious. Likewise in the film his personality is very strict. He doesn’t talk about Rebecca but he doesn’t like it when the new Ms. De Winter asks a lot about Rebecca and they’re relationship before she died. The second similarity is, the relationship between the new Ms. De Winter and Mr. De Winter is similar in the novel and the film. Mr. de winter adores the new Ms. De Winter when they first got married, but after a while when they first reached Manderley Ms. De Winter started to annoy Ms. de winter by asking him a lot of questions of his wife and how they lived. The last similarity is the way Ms. Danvers treats the new Mr. De Winter in the novel and the film. In the novel Ms. Danvers didn’t accept Ms. De Winter. Ms. Danvers is rude and didn’t like the new Ms. De Winter because she took Rebecca’s place. In the film Ms. Danvers did not welcome the new Ms. De Winter she didn’t like her at all she wanted the new Ms. De Winter to commit suicide and o get out of Mr. De Winter’s
