Ever since I was a child, I always strived to do the best I can. Whether it’s in sports or academics I try to be the best that I can possibly be. National Honor Society would be a great honor to be accepted into. With the acceptance of national honor society, comes the ability to positively impact my community. I’ve worked very hard in my classes to be able to be considered for National Honor Society, and it’d be nice to have my hard work recognized. This will also give me the opportunity to build my character and do things I might not normally do. I believe I am qualified in the four areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and characteriugiugguygiuygiuyfuyfiuyfiufiuyfiuyfyiuiuyf In order to be in National Honor society you have to have good grades and I believe I have achieved good grades for the time that I’ve been in school, and I believe I can maintain this standing if not improve it throughout the next year. I study and work very hard to have gotten where I am today and I will continue to do that through the rest of high school and college. I try to encourage my teammates as much as possible and I try to help them when they are struggling. I’ve been participating in swim lessons for the past three years now and that has really helped me step up as a leader because at times I had to lead groups with eight to ten little kids. The other instructors in my group started looking to me for instruction on what to tell the kids. It’s a great feeling being able to know that people look up to me for advice and help. I really enjoy teaching swim lessons and I was fortunate enough to be able to help out our JV coach during the summer by helping her work with her special education group in the pool. It was a fun experience and I feel as if I really helped out and made a
