I believe that the spaniards brought both improving, and disastrous things to the Native people. The Spaniards were able to bring themselves closer to the Natives with the ideas of Catholicism, and Christianity, but many Natives were forced into the religion. Take in account the Mestiza, or mixed children. If a child, mainly girls, were born with an Incan mother and spanish father, they were abandoned and sent to the Church where they had to become nuns. The spaniards also brought hard work to the Natives. For example take the silver mining in the Andes Mountains, when the spaniards and African slaves refused to work in the mines, the indigenous people were put to work. For over three hundred years Incan men were forced to work in the mines.
