I agree with Thoreau in the sense that nature is underappreciated. The sounds it brings fills in the silence left by people with delightful music created by the wildlife. At times, this sounds is the only thing that keeps a person sane, moving them into a deep sleep or relaxation. There are certain noises that go overlooked such as the birds chirping in the sunrise, the rustling of the tree leaves, and the dog barking on the corner. These things all seem so simple and without a meaning, but they actually hold more to it. The birds for instance are a symbol of a new day, the rustling trees are the whispers of the wind, and the dog barks as it awaits to be found by its owner.
