Hush, keep the secrets safe. In order to stay alive. In order to survive would you keep secrets? In Both Never fall down and “The Wife’s Story” they use to survival key to keep lies from the world to keep themselves alive. In order to survive, we keep secrets from our loves one or even strangers to protect ourselves from the outer world, or the truth might hurt them. In the “The Wife’s Story” the husband was once before a wolf and turned into human, and then having a family. He kept secrets from his family about his past which led to him be killed by his own family. The secrets we hide will later on hurt us, is it really worth hiding the “true” us, and leading us down a road to disaster, or is it a key to survival? …show more content…

Have you ever wonder why so many people have trust issues? We don't always know who to trust when our life or who to go to with these Gems. In the book Never fall down Arn had to hide and learn to turn off his emotions the Khmer Rouge did not find out the truth. To prove others and yourself that you're one of them to keep yourself alive, would you do it? Arn had to launch the mission to prove himself that he was now apart of the Khmer Rouge Hiding underneath a mask as if you were someone new, is well worth it. What mask are you hiding under? “Swear this one you’ll save” Would you trust the person beside you? Even if we trust a few with our secrets, how long will it take until they spill? “The Wife’s Story” the husband couldn't hold it in anymore and wanted to tell his family the truth, not knowing that when the truth could end up getting him killed. And caused the family to hurt knowing that ended up killing a family member that wasn't truthful to them. We were taught to tell the truth but we taught ourselves to keep secrets. To those out there that we trust with lies like these, Can we trust
