In the novel Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, there were quite a few different characters. We're focusing on one, the main character, Jack Reacher. Everything that happened in the book revolved around Reacher, whether it was what was happening in the book or just describing him in general. Reacher is very smart and shows it many different times in the book, and also him being witty also goes along with being smart. Examples of him being smart in the book is pretty much the whole book. The reason I say this is because the entire book his based on what Jack Reacher decides to do. Almost every time Reacher makes the right decision on what to do, and if he doesn’t then he usually figures a way out of it with him being so witty (Child 1-400). Reacher showing off his sharp side happens quite a bit also. Considering what Reacher does and everything he gets into he needs to be very sharp about what's happening and what’s going on around him, and he is.
