I have many traits that define who I am on the inside. My talents come naturally to me. I feel that the most important trait is being helpful. I hope to help an abundance of people. When I help someone, I feel happy because I know that I made their day. I am in Health Academy because it’s a program that helps students who want to go into the medical field. In health academy, we take classes that prepare us to get a job after high school. I feel that in the medical field, you can help more people. I also do many service hours because I Joined a club such as national honor society. National honor society helps me with getting services hour while doing volunteer work that benefits the school. I enjoy coloring and drawing, so I like when the teachers gave us projects that relate to art. I try my best on all my projects. My work was up in a teacher’s classroom before. I get a sense of achievement when my worked is showed off. We also had to present and describe our work. I was able to show my creativity through my work and share it with the class. I also had to share one picture I drew for a story we read. I got positive feedback from my teacher when I was showing it to the whole class. My favorite subject is ceramics because it’s where I get to express myself through choice projects. I would go to ceramics even if I didn’t have to. I like to be able to create what I want and design it to the style I want. It’s a class where my own creativity really shines. Ceramics class taught me to be patient because there are processes that you have to go through to have a final project. The class really pushes me to be creative because it’s different from art. In ceramics, I have to look at all angle because I am building a 3D model. It’s imperative to know what I want to put on all sides. While working with clay, I have to be fast with your hands and eyes. Ceramics makes me think outside the box because there are many techniques to build the project.
