Skin Deep: Nina Jablonski's Theory of Race The movie series "Skin Deep by Nina Jablonski" depicts the relationship between Human Race and various skin color. It shows how the society attributes one skin color to their race which determines their Economic and political status in the society. The movie also depicts how a scientist named Nina Jablonski through her research about human Skin Color and Race stresses that all human being regardless of their skin color belong to the same racial group, this is because the difference in human skin color is determined by the amount of melanin production in an individual’s body which is widely influenced by the geographical location of an individual thereby making a group of people or an individual to be either White or Black. It is quite absurd that a group of people who share the same skin color based on their environmental adaption must be classified into different group of races example Blacks, White or Asians, this is because the group of people with more power and privileges tends to benefit more leaving the other group or race to be disadvantaged. In other words, social construction of race promotes social instability in the society which makes it difficult to obtain an egalitarian society, thereby giving one race power over another. From the above analysis and description of Skin Deep I can conclude that all human being regardless of their skin color should be categorized into one single race known as "The Human Race" this is because, there is no scientific evidence to prove that any racial classification of people is better than the other hence, all human being are equal
