A great while ago, when the world was full of wonders there lived lighting . He lived up in the skies Below him lived mr frog , Mr frog walked by jumping while Nkuba stayed up in his place and stroke different places on earth , One day Nkuba stroke down on earth as he looked down he was surprised at Mr frog's house it was an amazing house he told himself He therefore asked Mr frog '' where did you get the grass that you covered the top of your house with? '' and what did you cut it with? Mr frog answered him I have an axe that I always use to cut the grass it is always useful when i build houses because my houses have to last long and be of great quality Nkuba said '' i am poor and cannot afford to buy a nice axe …show more content…
Nkuba answered him'' I will return it as quick as possible '' After they had given him the axe he went and started to cut grass . But as Nkuba cut the grass Mr frog told him '' I know Nkuba is not a loyal man , he is always angry and probably will not return my axe '' He therefore went and sat where Nkuba was building his house when Mrs Nkuba saw all the grass that his husband had brought she was so happy and questioned his husband saying " Nkuba where did you get all this grass?" The husband answered " keep quiet wife what I just saw is shocking I met Mr Frog and he gave me an axe and my good wife you know me very well I am not planning on returning the axe let me cut the grass and build a home " the wife said " you will be deceiving him Husband " and he answered " no mum trust me" Nkuba left and went to cut more grass again he built houses and covered them he saw how everything was going smooth and good as planned As he was speaking Mr frog was listening and he had heard everything After the talk was over between the wife and the husband Mr frog went home so that Nkuba would think he never heard anything and went
