If you have ever been in contact with any modern piece of technology such as the smart phones or a brand new computer laptop, then there is a very high chance that it had something to do with Northrop Grumman. What does Northrop Grumman do, you might ask? Well the better question would be is what field the company hasn’t reached yet, as they are a true innovator in the field of technology. From the deepest depths of the oceans to the edges of discovered space, Northrop Grumman has been involved in one way or another. They are a driving backbone behind the majority of world’s innovations that provide our modern lives with comfort and easy of living.

His creation of this company was right along the timeline of the World War Two, which the company provided much support. They built the P-61 “Black Widow” fighters for the allied nations, furthermore Jack Northrop created one of the first prosthetics departments inside the company for disfigured veterans of the war (Advameg, n.d.). Later on as Jack Northrop retired, the company name was changed to Northrop Corporation in 1952. The company continued to be and still is one of the leading aircraft and aircraft systems builders. Once the era of jets developed, Northrop was at the lead point of producing military aircraft for a multitude of nations. Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, there was over 220 F-5 Freedom Fighters all over the world used by over 30 countries.
