Worth is different for each person, and the objects/goals they deem so also change. Oscar Wilde was correct in his statement that “...Nothing that is worth knowing can be taught.” Anything worth knowing to an individual is learned. Teachers and professors teach material they believe should be worth it for students, but it up to each student to determine what is worth it so they can learn material. A student in a science major may not deem information from an English class worth it, and vice versa. Each individual is unique in what knowledge they believe will benefit them the most in the future. Personally, all knowledge is worth being learned; anything can build knowledge even if it may seem unrelated to a major. In five to ten years, I hope
