It has been shown that BSN program emphasizes leadership and evidence-based practice in a way that ADN programs are not able to. There isn’t enough time for the ADN programs to be able to teach all the future nurses the leadership that is needed at this time. I felt that I was lucky that I was able to complete majority of my leadership skills with the Military where I did complete a leadership program within the ranks of the Air Force.
