Frank Cray alleges during his testimony at the trial that Baptiste and Peterson left the bar after the drink was spilled, and when they attempted to come back in the bouncer would not allow them to re-enter. At this point Baptiste came to the door and somehow cut Frank, who allegedly turned his back when he saw Baptiste approach with a shiny object. Frank claims at this point he returned to the bar to put pressure on the cut he had received to the back of his neck. While sitting at the bar, someone reportedly told him his brother Jason was getting beat up outside. He then allegedly went to help his brother who was on the ground surrounded by four men.

A little while after the argument in Wesley's house, a close friend of the grandfather came to Wesley's home and tried to break Frank free. At this moment Wesley was not around, it was only David and his mother occupying their house. The mother had to fire shotgun pellets just to keep the four men from breaking into their house. After the incident the mother argued, "Let him do whatever he wants to do to whomever he wants. I don’t care anymore.
Frank committed a large scale crime, and was sent to a higher security prison. When Frank arrived, he learned the Penitentiary was unforgiving and broke spirits. “His lips were colorless, his fine teeth looked yellowish. He glanced at Alexandra sullenly, blinked as if he had come from a dark place, and one eyebrow twitched continuously” (Cather 103) Frank was portrayed as the antagonist in the entire book, except readers will sympathize for Frank
Frank was a normal person looking for love and affection as done anyone else. He found the wrong girl who was with the wrong guy. Frank was innocent in the situation but the jealousy of Richard Strout was to much for him to bare so he murdered Frank. The audience sees the reason behind Mr.Strouts murder and the reason behind Mr.Fowlers murder and deems one reason better than the other therefore one murder is okay and
Wesley would like to do nothing but on the other hand his wife Gail is loyal to Maire and wants justice. Marie’s sickness is sort of a blessing in disguise when it comes down to it, if she had not been sick, then frank would have not be caught. Therefore even though Marie lacks power she was able to help other Native American girls in the future because they will no longer have to face Frank as a doctor. Another example of attitude towards Native Americans is Frank Hayden’s. “As if he had no more concern for what he did than if…..if he had kicked a dog.
However, good always prevails in the end. It is a culmination of small, seemingly insignificant actions that generates the victory. By letting Marie off the hook — a blatant, treasonous violation of his duties punishable by death — Werner attempts to regain control of his life. At that moment, Werner chose good over evil. While his decision was certainly not an easy one and one that would be viewed as the wrong decision by his colleagues, Werner made it because he felt like he had to.
News of this once again set Angelique off. This time she threatened to burn down the Francheville home. Marie’s life in New France as a slave was trying, but she recognized that her freedom would become even more limited if she were sold. Freedom was then most likely her motivation for running away with Thibault shortly after. Although Angelique went unpunished for attempting to flee, she still continued to threaten arson against her owners if she was not granted
The first injustice of Francis’ life, which sets all others in motion, is the sexual assault of his girlfriend Nicole at the hands of LaSalle. By this point Cormier
Frank was one of the most interesting characters for me, and his purpose of inclusion is to show that excellent grades and an ivy league college don’t suddenly add up to happiness once you’re past high
Around 1817 a man named Frederick Douglass was born into slavery. He knew very little about himself; due to being a slave the white slave owners did not allow their slaves to know much about themselves. There could be many reasons why they did not allow the slaves to know things such as their birthday and parentage. After reading the narrative I came to the conclusion that the slave owners did not give them this information about themselves because they wanted the slaves to feel worthless, nothing more than property. In the book it reads “ By far the larger part of the slaves know as little of their ages as horses know of theirs, and it is the wish of most masters within my knowledge to keep their slaves thus ignorant.
What makes a story great? All great stories and pieces of literature have one aspect in common, they all have a significant theme. A theme brings the story together to make it whole, and it shows the reason why the author wrote that story. The story “Frankenstein” has multiple themes, but the one that I chose stands as friendship is key to loving and living life.
