Food environments are the access of food surround us for example grocery stores, food stores and restaurants. These factors have a great impact on our diet and health. The number and quality of calories intake is vital to our health. Americans demand cheep food, So American agriculture for the past dears faceted on cheap food that have high amounts of calories. Two of the cheapest sources of calories are corn and soy, which the federal government has long subsidized and which make up a large percentage of our caloric intake today (often in the form of high fructose corn syrup or soybean oil). Corn is also a large part of the diet of the animals we eat. According to CDC, 22.9 percent of adult in the state of Mississippi have consumed at least one or two fruits per day, which is consider low due to the lack of access to healthy foods. The action plan has four main focuses, first Improve state and local capacity and support to discuss physical activity and healthy eating across the lifespan in Mississippi. Goal includes using funding to support implantation related to the Obesity Action Plan including education !training !coalition!building and systems change. The second faces is Develop an intergenerational, culturally sensitive public awareness&campaign&on&preventing& obesity through healthy choices and physical activity. The third focus is to increase awareness of obesity in the workplace and promote healthy work sites. Fourth focus is to increase supports of healthy eating and physical activities within Mississippi state Healthcare system and Health Professional. The fifth focus assures a sustainable obesity prevention infrastructure and workforce. According to CDC, public health intervention have a great impact of population health
