Psychopaths are individuals who feel lack of empathy regarding other people. An example of psychopaths are notorious individuals such as Adolf Hitler. Everybody is aware of Adolf Hitler; he was a German politician who was the leader of the Nazi party he was a psychopath who only accepted people who are preferably Caucasian with blonde hair and blue eyes. Another psychopath is Theodore “Ted” Bundy who tortured women by raping them and eventually murdering them. Mental disorders include: • Schizophrenia- is a mental health condition, which is long term, and symptoms show psychological behaviour such as hallucinations, delusions, muddled thoughts and changes of behaviour. The disorder is common and a long-lasting disorder. OCD can start in childhood or adulthood and medications that are used to treat OCD are anti-depressants such as Prozac Serotonin. (Healthwise, 2014) (National Institutes of Health , 2016) • Substance abuse- is when an individual continuously uses a drug consciously knowing that the drug is harmful for them and use it the extreme that they develop mental health issues. It is caused when a person decides to get onto drugs continuously and becomes addicted there is no medication that can be taken as it can be dealt with effectively. • Addiction- is once an individual gets so addicted to a drug that they are unable to stop themselves as their brain and physical being craves the drug. The physical being has an impact as the individual starts to gain withdrawal syndromes, which consists of physical pain. This of course, would have an impact on the individual’s brain and changing the structure of function in the brain and could lead to mental health issues such as psychosis. Addiction is causes by subsequently using drugs and becoming addiction therefore there is no medication that can be used although addicted individuals can go into rehab which they will be helped to refrain from taking drugs depending on how long they have used drugs for.
