Many bodies are donated to science but they are not all treated well. David Wagoner Professor of anatomy at Indiana University wanted the bodies to be treated fairly. The meaning of the David Wagoner poem Their Bodies is that the students of Indiana University should be gentle with the bodies. In the first stanza of the poem it describes how his parents were good people and then the second stanza says that the students should treat them just how they would have treated them. The second stanza says, “You should treat them One last time as they would have treated you” (Wagoner 2.2-3).
Letter To Governor Of Oklahoma Dear Mr. Governor, I’m writing this letter in order to ask that you repay the Osage for all the hardships that they were put through during and after the reign of terror. After reading Killers Of The Flower Moon by David Grann, it has come to my attention just how much the Osage have suffered. I’m not just talking about the reign of terror, I'm also talking about the unfair laws and acts, corrupt justice system, and so called guardians of their money. All I ask is that they receive a fair amount of compensation or even a way for the Osage tribe to make money off of the windmills that are invading the Osage land. Before you make up your mind, allow me to elaborate on all the wrong doings and mistreatment that has transpired against the Osage.

Synopsis This poem by Ron Tranmer shows great patriotism by describing how we should value the soldiers that fight for our country more. Tranmer talks about men fighting for our freedom. Thinking about this makes you wonder about how men will leave their families, their children, and everything else precious to them behind, just to serve for our country. Tranmer uses parallelism to tell us why soldiers are so valuable.
Richard Wright’s poem “Between the World and Me” mourns the tragic scene of a gruesome lynching, and expresses its harsh impact on the narrator. Wright depicts this effect through the application of personification, dramatic symbolism, and desperate diction that manifests the narrator’s agony. In his description of the chilling scene, Wright employs personification in order to create an audience out of inanimate objects. When the narrator encounters the scene, he sees “white bones slumbering forgottenly upon a cushion of ashes,” and a sapling “pointing a blunt finger accusingly at the sky.”
In the worldly age are living people are filled with many margins; as he says Ian, who is impossible to read a book without margins, and the marginal behavior can be the most important kind. Each activity full of purpose that exists in the reality outside forest is like wasting time. The meaning of margin is where you can try out different ideas that might present a fear at the thought that he could not have the approval of others. "After Us" is talking about the human race, either at the beginning or end of its existence. It talks about a perfect world, one that has grown and flourished, but it starts to rain. They do not know if it is the rain will stop and they will continue to live, or if the rain will go on forever therefor eventually destroying humanity.
So, they can improve the odds of adolescents getting sufficient sleep so they can thrive both physically and academically. I agree with this source, starting schools later could enhance student’s school performance academically and athletically. Starting school too early are preventing many teenagers from getting the sleep they need to start off their day. I aim to using this this source to support my claim as to why students need more sleep and how it would affect them throughout the school day. Many of us are faced with tough times, hard decisions, and struggles but there are only certain people that have the willpower and determination to overcome those obstacles and change their life for the better. It Was Never About the Map For many years now, extremist conspirators have believed that the world is going to end, and everyone will perish. However, one poet has a more positive outlook, “A Map to the Next World” by Joy Harjo illustrates the fall of man and the birth of a better world. Symbolism about ancient civilization, modern day society, and her hopes for the future in her poem are used to emphasize that humanity should work towards a restored future. Harjo keeps referring to a map in her poem, but a map was not meant for the creator of that map to use.
