Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck shouldn’t be banned because the book shows how people’s lives were back then and contains many scenes with that should be shown like the friendship and heartfelt moments between Lennie and George or Candy and his dog.One of the main reasons for the banning of this book is because of euthanasia. Carlson shoots Candy’s dog because it was suffering and was dying of old age anyway.
