The American author, Og Mandino, who spent his life writing books about success and motivation and went through failure himself, once said, “Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough.” There are many famous people who show that determination can lead to success including, Jim Carrey, J.K. Rowling, and Theodor Seuss Geisel. These famous people overcame failure to get to where they are now and they showed me that I should never give up.

Jim grew up in a run down neighborhood in Canada, and he said he couldn’t make any friends. When he went home, he would go to the mirror and practice his jokes and make himself laugh.
